1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

1.1 Generalities

The following terms and conditions of sale shall apply to any sales concluded by any corporate bodies of the SAS Zooparc de Beauval, to wit the ZooParc de Beauval, the hotel Les Jardins de Beauval, the hotel complex Les Hameaux de Beauval (hereinafter named « the lodgings ») with non-professional of travels.

Depending on the type of product sold, the particular conditions apply.

The ZooParc de Beauval sells tickets, products and services, the lodgings sell services of lodging on itself and also packages, in according to the article 2, law of July 13th 1992.

The present general terms and the particular conditions taking effect depending the product sold are built-in parts of the sales contract. They are effective from 01/01/2014 and cancel and replace any other sales conditions released before.

1.2 Ability

Each client of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval admits having the ability to contract the conditions described in the sales conditions presented hereinafter, that is to say having the legal age and not being under administrative supervision.

Each client of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval admits being aware of the present conditions of sales before ordering. From then on, the ordering leads to the entire compliance to the general and particular conditions of sale of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval and its acceptance unreservedly of the totality and its measures.

1.3 Prices display

All prices are displayed in euros. The VAT is always included. The applicable tourist tax is to be paid during your reservation.

1.4 Visit Guarantee

The ZooParc de Beauval is open everyday, all year long, from 9am to nightfall. If some parts of the ZooParc were not visible (e.g. : for work), this partial closing would be announced before paying at till and will not give rise to any refund.

1.5 Force majeure

Force Majeure includes every event, external to the parties, presenting a sign at once unpredictable and insurmountable that prevents either the SAS ZooParc de Beauval, either the client, either the agency or the service providers involved in the carrying out of the trip or travel, to execute all or a part of the requirements expected by the contract.

From formal agreement, it will be like this in case of transport's services' strike, staff's strike, insurrection, riots and any prohibition enacted by the public or governmental authorities, as well as extreme meteorological conditions.

It is formally admitted that the force majeure suspends, for the parties, the execution of their mutual obligations.

In parallel, each party assumes the cost of every fee that are part of the party's obligation and that results from the case of force majeure : consequently, the customer will bear alone the extra fees that might be invested to enable the pursuance of his visit or his stay.

1.6 Datas protection Act

In accordance with the french law 78-17 called « Informatique et libertés », customers are advised that their order is subjected to a computerized and nominative treatment. Access rights and modification guaranteed by law are exerted on the SAS ZooParc de Beauval to the headquarters.

1.7 Règlement intérieur

In every establishment of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval, the rules and regulation are freely available for consultation. In case of non-respect of the clauses of the rules and regulations or the evacuation plan, the staff is authorized to proceed to the evacuation of every wrongdoer without any possible plea. Customers expelled under these circumstances can absolutely not obtain any refunds of the services in any case.

1.8 Claims

Every incident that occurs on the sites of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval that might engage the responsibility of the SAS will have to be declared to the front desks of the site, the day of the incident.

Every other claim must be sent within 15 days after the purpose of the claim :

1.9 Litigation

In case of litigation and without mutual agreement, the relevant court will be the one of the location of the SAS ZooParc de Beauval.

2. PARTICULAR CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTELS LES JARDINS DE BEAUVAL/LES PAGODES DE BEAUVAL

2.1 Ticket purchase

The ticket purchase is made :

  • at the ticket desk of the ZooParc de Beauval, located at Saint-Aignan sur Cher (41110)

  • on the website www.zoobeauval.com

Online order procedure on the website : the order is made in french. To this end, the customer choose the services and put them in its basket. After clicking on « commander », he copies his information in the areas dedicated to this end, he then checks the order, including the nomination, the price and the means of payment of the services, as well as the potential administrative costs, before validating it.

The tickets thus bought can be printed or downloaded on mobile phone.

2.2 Order's effect

The order is firm and permanent for the customer, who can only cancel it or modify it within the conditions defined by the general terms and conditions of sale.

2.3 Prices

The prices of the services are the one indicated on the leaflets of the ZooParc de Beauval and/or on its internet website. They are expressed in euros and all taxes included.

They do not include the personal expenses of the customers within the ZooParc de Beauval, its hotels or its restaurants (in particular the meals).

When the price is determined by the age of the children, the age of the children on the first day of the services realization is taken into account. Supporting documents proving the age of the children might be asked any moments by the staff of the ZooParc de Beauval; without such documents, the adult price will be applied.

Likewise, any beneficiary of a reduced entrance fee might be asked to prove his eligibility.

2.4 Services conditions

Tickets are either submitted to a validity end date and valid only on the time period they mention (period ticket),or they are valid at the date indicated on the ticket (dated ticket).

3. PARTICULAR CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTELS LES JARDINS DE BEAUVAL/LES PAGODES DE BEAUVAL

3.1 Preliminary offer

The preliminary offer mentioned in the law of 13th july 1992 is made of the information given on the website www.leshotelsdebeauval.com, by email as well as the present general conditions of sale.

3.2 Prices

Particular prices:

Prices submitted to particular rules, such as the extra fees for single rooms and the free of charges for the children are given for information purposes only. If a modification should affect the amount of these rates, we will inform the customer before confirmation of order.

The prices listed on commercial documents and on our website www.leshotelsdebeauval.com are in euros and include tax (VAT). These prices may be revised at any time due to updates to our websites and/or changes to our tariff policy. The price indicated on a package deal, special offer or quote may also change. The definitive price is that which is applied to the booking on the day of the reservation.

3.3 Services included within the package

Only the services explicitly mentioned in the order or booking form are part of the package.

The number of meals depends on the number of nights spend at the hotel. Half-board accommodations begins with the dinner the day of arrival and ends with the breakfast following the last night. It includes breakfast and one meal per day. Within the half-board accommodation conditions, drinks are not included, subject to exceptions duly mentioned in the description.

The Beauval Hotels reserve the right to impose a minimum of 2 nights per stay for certain dates of the year. These dates are available on request.

Services included in the package deals can only be used on the day(s) chosen by the customer when placing the order.

3.4 Conditions relating to tickets

ZooParc Beauval entrance tickets will be printed directly by the customer using their own equipment or can be delivered to the hotel that they have booked (either les Pagodas de Beauval or Jardins de Beauval hotel), on arrival and upon presentation of written confirmation (or email).

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that tickets are in good condition to avoid access to ZooParc de Beauval being refused at the entrance gates.

Tickets that have already been used will not be accepted.

It is strictly prohibited to copy or duplicate tickets.

3.5 Booking conditions

Full payment must be made in euros on the day of booking and by one of the means of payment indicated during the reservation process.

If the booking is cancelled no later than 7 days before the start date of the intended booking, the entire amount paid will be refunded to the customer.

However, in application of the Article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the customer does not receive the benefit of the 7-day cooling off period provided for by Article L. 121-20 of this same Code.

3.6 Booking modifications at the request of the customer

Any request for modifications must be made to the booking centre by phone to 02 54 75 6000 or by mail to the following address: reservations@leshotelsdebeauval.com

No modifications can be made via the website.

In some cases, the customer may be asked to confirm their request for modification of their booking in writing before it can be processed.

Any modification will result in a new confirmation letter being sent, which details the elements of the reservation that have been updated.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check that the information contained in this letter of confirmation is correct and that it complies with the requested modifications and immediately report any anomaly.

No modifications can be made to the services indicated as non-modifiable and non-refundable, with the exception of the addition of extra services. Any addition thus made will thereafter be definitive.

3.7 Cancellation at the request of the customer

Every cancellation has to be sent to the hotel Les Jardins de Beauval or at the hotel Les Pagodes de Beauval, by fax or email, with the booking number. This cancellation must occur at the latest 7 days before the start of the foretold stay. The date of reception of the fax or email will be the one retained for cancellation.

Non-respect by the customer of the schedule will be considered by the hotel Les Jardins de Beauval or the hotel Les Pagodes de Beauval as a cancellation asked by the customer without respect of the formal conditions specified above.

Without cancellation assurance, the amount paid will under no circumstances be reimbursed.

It will therefore be kept or debited the cancellation compensation composed as follows:

at the latest 7 days prior to arrival -> Refund of the deposit

From 7 to 1 day prior to arrival -> The total amount of the booking will be debited

Cancellation on the arrival day or no-show -> The total amount of the booking will be debited

An interruption of the stay will not give rights to the refund of the booked services.

No modifications can be made to the services indicated as non-modifiable and non-refundable.

3.8 Cancellation Insurance

Our prices do not include cancellation insurance. The client may however subscribe to a cancellation insurance policy with Gritchen Affinity according to the conditions which can be viewed freely on the website:

This subscription represents a contract between the client and Gritchen Affinity at a cost of 4.90 % of the total cost (including VAT) of the reservation and must be subscribed to at the time of booking.

Once subscribed to, this cancellation Insurance cannot be retracted.

In the event of cancellation or less than 7 days before the date of the intended arrival for reasons included in the contract, you should make your insurance claim at:

The client must however also give notice to Les Hôtels de Beauval of the cancellation by telephone or by email.

3.9 Means of payment

The SAS ZooParc de Beauval accepts credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard). Cash is only accepted for on site payments.

In case of non-payment, or if the payment is not made on time, SAS ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to cancel the reservation and any tickets that have been issued. A fee calculated on the basis of the cancellation costs applicable to each type of service may be retained.

When paying by credit card, the SAS ZooParc de Beauval is not responsible for all fees on credit card transactions incurred by changes in the exchange rate or for any other reasons. The person who books for other people is severally responsible for the full price.

3.10 Possession of the rooms

It is the norm in the international hotel trade to take possession of the room from 4pm and to vacate it before noon.

3.11 Modification of accommodations

Les hôtels de Beauval reserve the right to relocate clients from one hotel to the other if required, particularly in the event of a private event.

This relocation will be to a room of the same category or higher.

4. PARTICULAR CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTEL COMPLEX LES HAMEAUX DE BEAUVAL

4.1 Preliminary offer

The preliminary offer mentioned in the law of 13th july 1992 is made of the information given on the website www.leshameauxdebeauval.com, by email as well as the present general conditions of sale.

4.2 Prices

Particular prices:

4.3 Services included within the package

4.4 Booking conditions

To every booking must be joined a payment including administrative costs of 15€. These administrative costs are required only once per booking, whatever the number of accommodation or services is booked.

The deposit represents 30% of the total amount of the rental and its potential extra services, with a minimum of 150€. If the amount of the rental and its booked services do not extend to that amount, the total cost of the stay will then be required.

4.5 Balance payment

The entire cost of the rental and its potential extra services is required 6 weeks before the beginning of the stay.

4.6 Means of payment

The SAS ZooParc de Beauval accepts credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard). Cash is only accepted for on site payments.

4.7 Cancellation at the request of the customer

Every cancellation has to be sent to the hotel complex Les Hameaux de Beauval by fax or email, with the booking number and name under which reservation was made. The date of reception of the fax or email will be the one retained for cancellation.

Non-respect by the customer of the schedule will be considered by the hotel complex Les Hameaux de Beauval as a cancellation asked by the customer without respect of the formal conditions specified above.

  • More than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the arrival date -> deposit will be refund. Administrative costs are at the benefit of the Hameaux de Beauval.
  • From 6 to 8 weeks (from 43 to 56 days) before arrival date -> the deposit as well as the administrative costs are at the benefit of the Hameaux de Beauval.
  • From 6 weeks on (42 days) before arrival date -> the entire cost of the booking is at the benefit of the Hameaux de Beauval.

An interruption of the stay will not give rights to the refund of the booked services.

4.8 Cancellation Insurance

Our prices do not include cancellation insurance. The client may however subscribe to a cancellation insurance policy with Gritchen Affinity according to the conditions which can be viewed freely on the website:

4.9 Modification of accommodations types or extra services

We will endeavor to accept as much as possible the demands of modification of accommodation types or size or modifications of extra services, within the limits of availability.

If the amount of the booking after modification appears to be lower than the amount of the booking before modification, we will consider it as a partial cancellation whose potential penalties refer to the article 4.6 of the present general conditions of sales.

No fees will be retained for any modification of types or services for a booking amount superior to the booking amount before modification. Only the extra corresponding to the chosen service will be invoiced.

Without cancellation assurance, the amount paid will under no circumstances be reimbursed.

4.10 Means of payment

The SAS ZooParc de Beauval accepts credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard). Cash is only accepted for on site payments.

4.11 Possession of the accommodation

Customer can take possession of the rental from 4pm and will have to vacate it before 10am.
