Important information relating to the Covid-19 health crisis

In accordance with recommendations made by the health authorities, SAS ZooParc de Beauval has put heightened health and safety measures in place across its establishments. Those measures are detailed on its website at: https://www.zoobeauval.com/en/health-measures.

The Customer and each of the participating beneficiaries are asked, during their stay or visit, to carefully understand those measures and to comply with the protocols in force.

The Customer and each of the participating beneficiaries bear sole liability for complying with those measures. SAS ZooParc de Beauval cannot be held liable if those measures are not complied with by the Customer or one of the beneficiaries participating in the stay or the visit.

1. General provisions

Prior to any transaction carried out on the website www.zoobeauval.com of SAS ZooParc de Beauval (the “Website”), the Customer acknowledges having understood these general conditions of sale, and that she / he accepts them without reservation when placing an order on the Website for one of the Services.

1.1 Definitions

In these general conditions of sale, the following terms shall have the meaning given:

“ZooParc de Beauval”: ZooParc de Beauval, located at Avenue du Blanc, 41110 St Aignan.

“Accommodation Services”: The Jardins de Beauval Hotel, the Hameaux de Beauval Residence, the Pagodes de Beauval Hotel, the Rivages de Beauval Hotel, and the Hauts de Beauval Hotel.

“SAS ZooParc de Beauval” or “ZooParc de Beauval”: The firm ZooParc de Beauval, a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint-stock company) with capital of 311 923.50 euros, entered in Blois RCS (Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés – Trade and Companies Register) under number 383 578 432, and having its registered office at: Le Parc de Beauval, 41110 Saint-Aignan; tel.: +33 (0)2 54 75 5000; e-mail: infos@zoobeauval.com.

“Customer”: Any physical person acting for purposes that do not relate to her / his commercial, entrepreneurial, artisanal, or professional activity, and with whom SAS ZooParc de Beauval enters into a contract for the sale of tourism-related products.

“Services”: Tickets offered for sale by SAS ZooParc de Beauval, accommodation services offered for sale at variable prices and fixed prices by accommodation providers, as well as additional products and service

“Order” or “contract”: Any contract entered into between the Customer and SAS ZooParc de Beauval for the fulfilment and performance of the sale of Services.

1.2 Scope of application

Unless specified otherwise, these general conditions of sale apply in their entirety to any offer of provision of service and to any provision of service at ZooParc de Beauval, such as access to the ZooParc as well as to the Odyssée des Lions de Mer and the Maîtres des Airs shows; food and drink; the organisation of stays; and the provision of associated services sold by SAS ZooParc de Beauval, i.e. ZooParc de Beauval as well as the Jardins de Beauval Hotel, the Hameaux de Beauval Residence, the Pagodes de Beauval Hotel, the Rivages de Beauval Hotel, and the Hauts de Beauval Hotel (hereinafter termed the “Accommodation Services”), with persons who are not travel professionals.

Special conditions apply, depending on the type of tourism-related product sold.

ZooParc de Beauval sells tickets, products, and services. The Accommodation Services sell so-called “variable-price” and fixed-price accommodation services. Special conditions concerning the sale of fixed-price services apply to all combinations of one overnight stay and at least one of the two following items: another tourism-related service, such as the visit to ZooParc de Beauval and / or transport, provided that it is carried out pursuant to the conditions set out in article 3(2) of Directive 2015/2302 of 25 November 2015, as transposed into national law. They also apply to all services reserved in advance as part of a package, whether that means services included in the package from the outset or services reserved subsequently to be provided as part of the package.

These general conditions, as well as the special conditions that apply depending on the product sold, form an integral part of the contract of sale. They cancel and replace any other condition of sale circulated previously.

They take precedence over any other document issued by the customer and over any prospectus, tariff booklet, or brochure received by the seller.

If the seller does not rely upon any one of the clauses of the general conditions of sale, that shall not be interpreted as a waiver of subsequently relying upon all the clauses. If one of the clauses of the general conditions of sale should be declared null and void or if it should be cancelled, the other clauses shall not be affected thereby, and the parties shall negotiate in good faith to modify the cancelled clause.

SAS ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to modify the general conditions of sale at any time. The conditions that apply are the ones that are in force when the order is placed.

1.3 Capacity

All customers of SAS ZooParc de Beauval acknowledge that they have the capacity to enter into contracts pursuant to the conditions set out below, i.e. that they are of legal adult age and that they are not under guardianship or wardship.

All customers of SAS ZooParc de Beauval acknowledge that they understand these conditions of sale before placing their order. Accordingly, customers who validate the order by expressly accepting the general conditions of sale are deemed to have fully accepted the general and special conditions of sale of SAS ZooParc de Beauval, and to have accepted their provisions in full and without reservation.

1.4 Absence of the right of withdrawal

Article L. 221-28-12 of the Consumer Code provides for the absence of the right of withdrawal for “provisions of accommodation services, other than residential services, as well as services relating to the transport of goods, car hire, food and drink, or leisure activities, to be provided on a pre-determined date or during a pre-determined period.” The Services governed by these general conditions of sale are covered by article L. 221-28-12 of the said Code. In consequence, any right of withdrawal is excluded.

1.5 Pricing

All prices are given in euros. VAT is always included. The current tourist tax must be paid when you make your reservation.

Unless specified otherwise, price reductions and special offers made by SAS ZooParc de Beauval cannot be combined with one another, or with other price reductions or promotional offers that SAS ZooParc de Beauval may make on a one-off basis. It is specified that promotional offers do not apply to customers who have already made their reservations on the date of the offer. In such a case, no refund can be made.

1.6 Visit guarantee

ZooParc de Beauval is open all year round except on certain days. ZooParc de Beauval may have to restrict opening hours or temporarily close some parts of the ZooParc (e.g. because work is being done, if an incident occurs, if maintenance work is being done, because of bad weather, etc.). To the extent possible, that partial closure will be announced before checkout, and cannot under any circumstances give rise to any refund.

Some areas (such as the “Nuage de Beauval” cable car), the shows, and the conservatories (including the Dôme) are open during the periods and times given on the Website as well as on the map handed out on the day of your visit. The times given for reference only. They may be changed in case of incident, maintenance work, or bad weather (heavy rain, storms, high winds, etc.).

1.7 Force majeure

Force majeure is taken to mean any even that lies outside the control of the parties, and that is unforeseeable and insurmountable in nature, such that it prevents SAS ZooParc de Beauval, or the customer, or the agency or service providers involved in the excursion or the journey, from fulfilling all or part of the obligations set out in the contract.

It is expressly agreed that such force majeure shall apply in case of a transport strike, a staff strike, an uprising, a riot, any prohibition imposed by governmental or public authorities, and extreme weather conditions.

It is expressly agreed that force majeure shall suspend the requirement for the parties to fulfil their reciprocal obligations.

In parallel, each of the parties bears all the costs that are incumbent upon it and that arise in case of force majeure. In consequence, the customer shall bear sole liability for additional costs that may be incurred to enable her / him to continue her / his visit or stay.

1.8 Personal data

As data controller, SAS ZooParc de Beauval collects and processes personal data relating to the Customer and to any beneficiary designated by the Customer when the order is placed (the “Beneficiary”) (together termed the “Data”). The Customer and the Beneficiary are hereinafter jointly termed the “Persons Concerned”.

At all times, you have a right of access, a right to modification, a right to rectification, and a right of deletion, in relation to data concerning you. Please consult our Data Confidentiality Policy, which is available on the website at https://www.zoobeauval.com/en/privacy-policy and on request.

1.9 Intellectual property

The Website and all items accessible and / or available via the Website, including, without limitation, the description of Services, and all content or items made available to Customers, in particular all data, information, texts, files, animated images, non-animated images, photographs, videos, logos, drawings, models, software and brands (the “Items”) are the sole property of SAS ZooParc de Beauval and / or its licensors, and are protected in that regard by French and international law relating to intellectual property in particular.

Use of all or part of the Items, in particular by access, loading, consultation, viewing, downloading, reproduction, or representation, on all supports / by all procedures, is strictly forbidden except for personal and private purposes and for non-commercial use, and subject to compliance with the rights of SAS ZooParc de Beauval. The licence thus granted to the Customer by SAS ZooParc de Beauval is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable, and not open to sub-licensing, and it is valid for the period of use of the Website and in the territory where the Customer is located.

Any unauthorised reproduction or representation is prohibited, and constitutes counterfeiting. In particular, none of the Items, or all or part thereof, can be modified, reproduced, copied, duplicated, sold, re-sold, transmitted, published, communicated, distributed, circulated, represented, stored, used, rented, or exploited in any other manner, whether under free title or under onerous title, by the Customer or by a third party, regardless of the means and / or supports used, whether they are known or unknown to date, without the express prior written authorisation of SAS ZooParc de Beauval.

All rights are reserved that are not expressly granted by virtue of this document.

The brands of SAS ZooParc de Beauval and the logos displayed on the Website are registered trademarks. SAS ZooParc de Beauval does not grant the Customer any right over the brands of which SAS ZooParc de Beauval and its partners are the owners. Any reproduction of the brands of SAS ZooParc de Beauval and of its identification marks is subject to prior written validation by SAS ZooParc de Beauval.

1.10 Rules of procedure

The rules of procedure are available on the Website at https://www.zoobeauval.com/en/rules-and-regulations. They can also be freely consulted in each establishment of SAS ZooParc de Beauval.

Failure to comply with the provisions of the rules of procedure or of the evacuation plan shall authorise staff to expel any offender without appeal. Customers expelled under those terms cannot under any circumstances obtain a refund in relation to the Services.

1.11 Practical information for persons with reduced mobility

SAS ZooParc de Beauval offers various services for persons with reduced mobility and their companions. For their safety, disabled visitors must be accompanied by at least one person who is able to help them get about if needed.

However, some activities offered by SAS ZooParc de Beauval are subject to physical restrictions.

In any case, if one of the participants has mobility problems or a disability, or if she / he needs care or has special needs, the Customer must inform SAS ZooParc de Beauval of the matter before placing an order or making a reservation, in order to determine the extent to which it is possible to deal with the matter.

In some cases, specific requests may lead to additional costs, which will then be made known to the Customer.

1.12 Complaints and information relating to customer service

Any incident that occurs on the sites of SAS ZooParc de Beauval and that may engage the latter’s liability must be notified to the site reception services on the day of the incident.

Failure to receive a satisfactory reply within sixty (60) days of sending your complaint gives you the option to refer to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage (Tourism and Travel Mediator), whose contact details and referral procedure are available below.

1.13 Identity theft

In law, pursuant to article 226-4-1 of the Criminal Code, identity theft is a crime that is punishable by a prison term of one year and a fine of 15 000 euros: “the fact of robbing a third party’s identity or of using one or more items of data of all types that enable the third party to be identified, with a view to disturbing that person’s peace or that of another person, or to attacking that person’s honour or reputation, is punishable by a prison term of one year and a fine of €15 000. The crime is subject to those same punishments when it is committed on an online network for communication to the public.

1.14 Applicable law and disputes

The relationship between SAS ZooParc de Beauval and the Customer concerning the Services reserved pursuant to these general conditions of sale is governed by French law, subject to any other over-riding rule that is more favourable to the Customer and that is applicable in the Customer’s country of habitual residence.

In case of dispute, before any legal action is taken, the parties shall try to act together in good faith to find an amicable solution. Accordingly, any complaint must first be set out in writing to the customer service of SAS ZooParc de Beauval, with supporting documents, at the following address: ZooParc de Beauval, 41110 Saint Aignan sur Cher.

In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code concerning the amicable settlement of disputes, SAS ZooParc de Beauval belongs to a consumer-mediator service that can be reached at this address:

A referral can be made to that service for any dispute that is not settled amicably.

If a dispute arises and if it is not settled amicably, the Customer can refer the matter either to the jurisdiction that covers SAS ZooParc de Beauval, or to the jurisdiction that covers the Customer’s place of residence at the time of purchasing the Services or the occurrence of the proximate cause.

2. ZooParc de Beauval – special conditions

2.1 Ticket purchases

Tickets can be purchased:

  • At the ticket office of ZooParc de Beauval, 41110 Saint Aignan sur Cher; or
  • by telephone: +33 (0) 2 54 75 5000; or
  • over the website: www.zoobeauval.com.

The procedure for placing an order over the Website is as follows:

  • on the Website, the Customer chooses her / his ticket for admission to ZooParc de Beauval (up to a maximum of 50 tickets per order), as well as any Services and activities offered, which the Customer then adds to her / his basket;
  • to continue the ordering process, the Customer either:
    • places an order in “guest” mode, without having to create an account, by completing the fields needed to send the order; or
    • places an order by creating an account or by logging into her / his account, by clicking on the link provided for that purpose. Opening an account automatically gives the Customer access to a personal area enabling order and personal data to be managed. The Customer warrants that all the information she / he provides is accurate, up to date, and not in any way deceptive. In case of modification, the Customer undertakes to update her / his information using the personal area. The Customer is hereby informed, and accepts, that the personal information input for creating or updating her / his account is deemed proof of the Customer’s identity.
      The Customer undertakes to maintain and to keep confidential the log-in details and password relating to her / his account, for which the Customer has sole liability. In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of the log-in details and password, the Customer can modify and replace her / his password directly online;
  • a summary of all selections, designation, price, contact details, any shipping costs, terms of payment relating to Services, as well as any payment towards administrative fees, enables the Customer to check the details of the order and to make any modifications needed before finally placing the order;
  • the order will be registered after these general conditions of sale have been accepted by ticking a box in the registration form, and after the order has been validated by clicking on “Validate and pay”.

The sale will be considered final only after acceptance of the means of payment used and after SAS ZooParc de Beauval has received the entire price.

The Customer declares that, at the time of placing the order, she / he understood the current general conditions of sale and with the characteristics of the tickets and Services.

Tickets purchased in that way can be printed, or downloaded to a mobile telephone.

It is expressly forbidden to resell or assign tickets for commercial or professional purposes.

It is forbidden to reproduce, duplicate, or counterfeit a ticket. A single ticket cannot be used to seek admission more than once.

The Customer bears sole liability for the use made of her / his ticket(s). SAS ZooParc de Beauval declines all liability in case of loss, theft, or illicit use of a ticket.

2.2 Effect of the order

The order is firm and final for the Customer, who can only cancel or modify it pursuant to the provisions of the general conditions of sale.

2.3 Prices

The prices of the Services are as indicated in the ZooParc de Beauval brochures and / or the Website. They are given in euros and include all taxes, the rate of VAT being the one that is applicable in France on the day the order is placed. If the rate is modified, the new rate shall be applied to the price of Services as soon as it comes into force.

Prices do not include communication costs relating to use of the Website, or the Customer’s personal expenses during her / his visit to ZooParc de Beauval, its hotels, and its restaurants (meals in particular).

When the tariff relates to children’s ages, those children’s ages on the first day of providing the Services are taken into account. SAS ZooParc de Beauval staff may request proof of children’s ages at any time.

Similarly, proof of eligibility may be requested of any person benefiting from a reduced tariff.

If that proof of eligibility is not provided, the adult tariff shall be applied.

If you purchase an Adult Keeper for a Day activity (summer or winter version), you have free admission to the park after the activity. The 1-day admission ticket is offered free of charge. It cannot be combined with current offers.

A visit to ZooParc de Beauval is not included in the Junior Keeper for a Day and Mini Keeper activities. Participants must hold an admission ticket at the current normal tariff, in addition to the activity.

2.4 Conditions of services

Admission tickets are subject to a time limit. They are valid only for the period that they indicate (a ticket valid for a period) or for the date shown on the ticket (dated ticket).

2.5 Modes of payment

SAS ZooParc de Beauval accepts payment by Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard, and American Express, as well as by cheque and by holiday vouchers issued by the ANCV (Association Nationale pour les Chèques-Vacances – National Agency for Holiday Vouchers).

Please note that holiday vouchers are not accepted for payment relating to educational activities (such as Keeper for a Day, Mini Keepers, etc.). Educational activities can be paid for by transfer or by cheque for orders placed by telephone.

Cash is only accepted for payments made on site and subject to the maximum amounts set in law.

For payments by bankcard, SAS ZooParc de Beauval is not liable for any bankcard-transaction costs that may arise due to an exchange-rate variation or for other reasons. ANCV cheques are not accepted for payment of shop items, including Beauval Box.

2.6 Refund or cancellation

Admission tickets for the ZooParc, whether dated or undated, cannot be cancelled, exchanged, refunded, extended, or resold. Activity tickets and gift vouchers can be exchanged (up to 5 days before the date of the activity), but they cannot be extended, refunded, or resold.

Pursuant to article L. 221-28-12 of the Consumer Code, the Customer does not benefit from the withdrawal period of 14 clear days as set out in article L 221-18 of the same code.

3. Beauval Hotels – special conditions

The following terms apply to flat-rate Services or non-package Services in the following Beauval accommodation services (hereinafter: the “Accommodation Services”): the “Jardins de Beauval” Hotel / “Rivages de Beauval” Hotel / “Pagodes de Beauval” Hotel / “Hauts de Beauval” Hotel (hereinafter: the “Beauval hotels”), as well as the “Hameaux de Beauval” tourist residence (hereinafter: the “Hameaux de Beauval Residence”).

3.1 Prior information

Prior information is made up of information provided over the Website at www.zoobeauval.com/en/stays-at-beauval, in commercial brochures, by e-mail, and in these general conditions of sale.

Commercial information that SAS ZooParc de Beauval provides to the Customer, in particular over the Website, aims at informing the Customer, before the latter places an order, of the content of Services relating to the stay, price, terms and conditions of payment, cancellation conditions, and conditions for modifying the Customer’s stay.

SAS ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to change the information provided, in particular concerning the price and content of Services offered for the stay, before the Customer makes a reservation.

3.2 Reservation – terms and conditions

A reservation can be made:

Making a reservation over the Website includes the following steps:

  • on the Website, the Customer selects the accommodation of her / his choice, the dates of her / his stay, the number of participants, and any additional Services offered, which are then added to her / his reservation;
  • a summary setting out all the choices, the designation, the dates of the stay, the price, and the tourist tax, enables the Customer to check the details of her / his reservation and make any necessary modifications before finalising the reservation;
  • to finalise the reservation, the Customer must complete the necessary fields with her / his personal information, any possible or optional cancellation insurance that is taken out, and the Customer’s means of payment;
  • the Customer warrants that all the information provided is accurate, up to date, and not in any way deceptive. The Customer is hereby informed, and accepts, that the personal information input for organising the stay is deemed proof of the Customer’s identity;
  • the reservation will be registered after these general conditions of sale have been accepted, and after the reservation has been validated by clicking on “Validate the reservation”.

The sale will be considered final only after acceptance of the means of payment used and after SAS ZooParc de Beauval has received the entire price.

The Customer declares that, at the time of placing the order, she / he understood the current general conditions of sale and with the characteristics of her / his stay.

Regardless of the date of reservation, the price must be paid in full on the date of reservation itself, in euros and using one of the means of payment shown during the reservation on the Website.

In case of cancellation no less than seven (7) days before the start date of the stay, the full amount paid will be refunded to the Customer. If cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the start date of the stay, the Customer shall not be entitled to any refund.

Pursuant to article L. 221-28-12 of the Consumer Code, the Customer does not benefit from the withdrawal period of 14 clear days as set out in article L 221-18 of the same code, except in matters concerning the optional insurance policy.

3.3 Tariffs

Special tariffs:

Tariffs that are covered by special rules, such as any supplements and free child entry, are given for reference purposes only. If those tariff amounts are modified, the Customer will be informed before confirming her / his order.

Prices in commercial documents and on the Website at www.zoobeauval.com/en/stays-at-beauval are given in euros and include all taxes. They may be reviewed at any time based on the current situation of the sites or a review of pricing policy. A tariff given in relation to an option or an estimate may also change. The final tariff is the one applied on the day of the firm reservation.

It is expressly stipulated that no price modification will occur after the Customer’s reservation has been finalised.

When the tariff relates to children’s ages, those children’s ages on the first day of providing the Services are taken into account. Accommodation staff may request proof of children’s ages at any time.

Similarly, proof of eligibility may be requested of any person benefiting from a reduced tariff.

If that proof of eligibility is not provided, the adult tariff shall be applied.

3.4 Services included in the flat-rate charge

Only Services that are explicitly mentioned in the order or reservation form are part of the package selected.

All packages include the Pass Parc Hôtels.

The Customer will have the option of reserving an overnight stay without admission, only for some dates, by telephone: + 33 (2) 54 75 6000.

The Hameaux de Beauval Residence reserves the right to impose a minimum duration of two (2) nights per stay for some dates in the year. Those dates are available on request.

Flat-rate Services can only be used for the date(s) selected by the Customer when the order is placed.

3.5 Ticketing conditions

All stay packages purchased include the Pass Parc Hôtels, which gives admission to ZooParc de Beauval.

The Pass Parc Hôtels gives admission to ZooParc de Beauval from the day of arrival to the day of departure (both days included).

The Customer will receive e-tickets by e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours.

The Customer must keep the tickets with her / him. They will be requested at each ZooParc de Beauval admission checkpoint.

The Customer can use her / his own equipment to print the tickets for admission to ZooParc de Beauval.

The Customer is liable for ensuring that the tickets are in good condition, to avoid being refused admission to ZooParc de Beauval.

Used tickets shall not be accepted.

Photocopying or duplicating tickets is strictly forbidden.

3.6 Beauval Box, gift vouchers, and exchange vouchers

Beauval Box includes:

  • 1 night at the Jardins de Beauval Hotel or the Pagodes de Beauval Hotel for 2 adults in a double room;
  • admission to ZooParc de Beauval for 2 consecutive days;
  • breakfast.

3.7 Reservation modification at the Customer’s request

3.7.1 Reservation modification relating to hotels

A reservation modification is taken to mean any change of date, accommodation, number / ages of persons staying, and services, made more than seven (7) days before the arrival date, subject to availability and reception conditions.

A change in the dates of stay may lead to a tariff review.

A modification request must be made to the reservation office by telephoning +33 (0)2 54 75 60 00, or by e-mail to the following address: reservations@leshotelsdebeauval.com.

No modification can be made over the Website.

In some cases, the Customer may be asked to confirm her / his modification request in writing before it can be processed.

Any modification made shall lead to a new confirmation letter that sets out the aspects of the reservation updated with regard to the modifications made, in particular the tariff difference following the tariff review. The stay must be paid for in full before the Customer arrives.

On receiving the confirmation letter, the Customer must check that the items set out in the confirmation letter are in line with her / his request and she / he must immediately point out any anomaly to the reservation office using the contact details given above.

No modification can be made to Services shown as non-modifiable and non-refundable, with the exception of additional Services that must be paid for at the time. Any addition thus made shall be final.

3.7.2 Reservation modification concerning the residence

A reservation modification is taken to mean a modification to all types of apartments or additional services as part of the reservation at the Hameaux de Beauval Residence.

We shall do our best to accept requests for modifications to the type / size of the location or to the additional Services, subject to availability.

If the reservation amount after modification is less than the reservation amount before modification, we consider the latter to be a partial cancellation, with the application of possible penalties, as set out in article 3.7 of these general conditions of sale.

No cost shall be retained in respect of any modification relating to type or Service where the reservation amount is higher than it was before modification. Only the supplement for the Service selected shall be invoiced.

3.8 Cancellation at the Customer’s request

Cancellation is taken to mean the total or partial deletion of the number of participants and services.

All cancellations must be sent to the Jardins de Beauval Hotel, the Rivages de Beauval Hotel, the Pagodes de Beauval Hotel, or the Hauts de Beauval Hotel, by post or by e-mail and with the reservation number. Cancellations must be made no less than seven (7) days before the planned start date of the stay. The date of receipt of the letter or e-mail shall be taken as the cancellation date.

If the Customer fails to respect the timescale, the Jardins de Beauval Hotel, the Pagodes de Beauval Hotel, the Rivages de Beauval Hotel, and the Hauts de Beauval shall deem it a cancellation requested by the Customer without compliance with the formal conditions set out above.

If cancellation occurs less than seven (7) days before the arrival date and if no cancellation insurance is held, the sums paid shall be retained regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Accordingly, cancellation indemnities shall be retained or levied as follows:

Cancellation more than seven (7) days before the arrival date → A full refund of the amounts paid.

Cancellation less than seven (7) days before the arrival date → The full amount of the reservation shall be retained.

For any stay that is interrupted or not used for any reason whatsoever, the entire amount of the stay reserved shall be owed or shall be retained, and that shall not give rise to an entitlement to a refund for the Services reserved. No postponement can be sought.

Services shown as non-modifiable and non-refundable cannot be cancelled.

3.9 Cancellation insurance

Our prices do not include cancellation insurance. However, the Customer can take out a cancellation-insurance policy with the firm Gritchen Affinity, pursuant to the specific conditions that can be freely consulted on the website at souscription.safebooking.com/alg-beauval.

Taking out cancellation insurance is covered by a contract between the firm Gritchen Affinity and the Customer, on the basis of 4.90% of the amount of the stay, including all taxes, and it must be taken out when the reservation is made. After cancellation insurance has been taken out, the insurance premium shall not be refunded.

If a stay is cancelled or interrupted less than seven (7) days before the arrival date for a reason covered by the cancellation-insurance policy, the Customer must her / his contingency to the following address: souscription.safebooking.com/alg-beauval.

However, the Customer must notify the Beauval hotels of cancellation by telephone or by e-mail.

3.10 Modes of payment

SAS ZooParc de Beauval accepts payment by Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard, and American Express, as well as by bank transfer, cheque, and by holiday vouchers issued by the ANCV (Association Nationale pour les Chèques-Vacances – National Agency for Holiday Vouchers). Only payment by bankcard can be made over the Website. Cash is only accepted for payments made on site.

For payments by bankcard, SAS ZooParc de Beauval is not liable for any bankcard-transaction costs that may arise due to an exchange-rate variation or for other reasons.

If payment is not made, or if it is not made by the deadline set, SAS ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to cancel the reservation and, where appropriate, the tickets issued. Charges may be levied that are calculated on the basis of cancellation charges applicable to each type of Service.

The person who reserves on behalf of other persons is jointly and severally liable for the full price.

3.11 Checking in

3.11.1 For the Beauval hotels

In the international hotel industry, it is standard practice to check in from 4:00 p.m. onwards, and to check out before 12:00 midday.

3.11.2 For the Hameaux de Beauval Residence

The Customer can check in from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and must check out before 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

3.12 Guest relocation

ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to relocate Customers from one hotel to another if required for operational reasons, in particular for a private event. Relocation will take place to accommodation of the same category, or at no extra cost to accommodation of a higher category.
