New territory: Bucolia, a life-size farm - ZooParc de Beauval

Bucolia

Bucolia has been conceived as a true living conservatory where heritage and domestic biodiversity come together. Visitors of all ages can discover life on the farm in a natural, immersive, and sensory setting. They have the opportunity to meet rare and emblematic heritage breeds, such as Solognot sheep, Cou Clair goats, and Grand Noir du Berry donkeys, while also enjoying encounters with more familiar and endearing animals, including Shetland ponies and rabbits, for an experience that is both educational and enjoyable.

Shows, talks, and activities

Experience unforgettable moments at Beauval and attend fabulous shows where animals become messengers for biodiversity… The shows will resume on March 22, 2025.

« ZooParc de Beauval exceeded every expectation we had. It is, without question, the best zoo we have ever visited.

What makes Beauval so special is that it doesn’t feel like a traditional zoo. The enclosures are huge, beautifully designed and blend naturally into the landscape, giving the impression of walking through nature rather than from cage to cage.

The variety of animals is incredible, and every area feels spacious, clean and exceptionally well maintained. We were especially impressed by how much room the animals appeared to have and how thoughtfully each habitat had been created.

One of the best additions to the park is the cable car, which is much more than just transportation. It offers fantastic views across the park and is an experience in itself.

The sea lion show was another highlight of our visit. It was entertaining, well-organised and a big hit with both adults and children.

We visited as a family with a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old, and both children had a fantastic day. The park is easy to navigate, there are plenty of places to eat and take breaks, and there was always something exciting around the next corner.

We spent an entire day there and still could have stayed longer. If you’re visiting the Loire Valley, this is an absolute must-see and worth planning your trip around.

Highly recommended! »

Beauval has made a commitment…

The Beauval Nature association was created to implement, develop, and support conservation actions for the preservation of the world’s biodiversity, as well as scientific research programs to better understand and protect animals. Its objective is to make the general public, and especially ZooParc de Beauval’s visitors, aware of the need for these actions.
