Which of the ZooParc de Beauval’s partners may use information and data from cookies?

Third parties are authorised by the ZooParc de Beauval to store and/or use cookies on the Website. These third-party cookies perform various functions:

  • On the one hand, they allow the ZooParc de Beauval to offer you the services of the Website, through the use of technologies developed by third parties;
  • On the other hand, they may sometimes allow these third parties to collect information and data relating to your browsing on the Website, within the limits of the purposes previously defined.

When these third parties process personal data originating from the data collected through the Website, they act on their own behalf in their capacity as data controllers and/or as joint data controllers with the ZooParc de Beauval. The exhaustive list of third parties that may process data and information from cookies stored and/or used through use of the Website is available in the “Cookie owner” column of the above tables, which lists all cookies stored and/or used on the Website.

For what length of time are the data collected through cookies processed?

For the sake of clarity, a distinction must be made between:

  • The lifetime of the cookies; and
  • The length of time during which data and information collected through cookies is processed.

The lifetime of a cookie is the period during which a cookie will take effect starting from when it is stored on your device. This period is not automatically extended upon new visits to the Website. This period is defined for each of the cookies used and/or stored on the Website. You can find this period in the column “Duration of validity of consent” in the tables above, listing all the cookies stored and/or used on the Website. The length of time during which data and information collected via cookies is processed corresponds to the length of time during which the ZooParc de Beauval and/or its partners may need to use the data and information collected via cookies in their information systems. When a cookie expires, the data and information collected by it can still be used. The data and information collected via cookies on the Website are kept for a maximum of six (6) months.

If you expressly accept, you consent to the use of cookies on your device. In case of refusal or lack of response, cookies that are subject to consent are not stored and/or used on your terminal. We inform you that, in accordance with the regulations, cookies that are intended to enable or facilitate communication or are necessary for the provision of a service you have requested are not subject to your consent. Third-party opt-out platforms

Several platforms of advertising professionals also offer you the possibility of refusing or accepting cookies used by the companies that are members. These centralised mechanisms do not block the display of advertisements but only prevent the use of data from cookies for personalising the display of these ads.
