Step into the daily life of the ZooParc de Beauval teams through these exclusive experiences. From privileged observation and engaging conversations to behind-the-scenes discoveries, each encounter is designed to create a truly special moment.
Depending on your preferences and availability, choose the species you would like to meet and the date of your visit. Our teams will then design your experience, taking into account animal welfare and the day-to-day realities of caring for the animals.

WHAT’S INCLUDED**
Depending on the species selected and availability, your Exclusive Animal Encounter may include one of the following experiences:
- A privileged encounter with the animals: Get up close to iconic species such as Indian rhinoceroses, okapis, lowland tapirs or Aldabra giant tortoises during a rare experience supervised by our teams.
- A guided feeding session: Take part in preparing food and feeding selected species such as red pandas, meerkats or Humboldt penguins while chatting with one of our dedicated animal keepers.
- Creating enrichment activities: Contribute to the animals’ welfare by helping prepare enrichment activities for tigers, ring-tailed lemurs or South American coatis.
- An immersive experience close to the animals: Enter dedicated areas and enjoy a unique experience alongside red pandas, giant anteaters, Komodo dragons or squirrel monkeys, under the supervision of our teams.
Each encounter is designed to combine emotion, discovery and the utmost respect for animal welfare.

Practical information
How do I book?
For an Exclusive Animal Encounter taking place up to 31 August, bookings can only be made online: https://reservations.zoobeauval.com/activite-rencontres-privileges
Exclusive Animal Encounters taking place from 1 September onwards can only be booked through our Customer Contact Centre.
1/ Complete the online form, specifying your preferences (species, preferred date, number of participants, etc.).
2/ Our team will assess the feasibility of your request with our Education Department.
3/ We will then contact you to arrange your personalised experience.
Is the programme confirmed in advance?
No. The programme is provided for guidance only. The species or activity may be changed depending on weather conditions or to ensure the animals’ welfare.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to cancel your participation in the activity, with no refund, rescheduling or change of date possible. This measure is necessary to ensure the smooth running of the activity and to respect the schedule of the following participants.
What should you bring on the day of the activity?
We recommend bringing:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Suitable clothing for working close to the animals
- A bottle of water
- A cap or hat, if needed
- A camera (at your own responsibility)
What restrictions should you be aware of?
Exclusive Animal Encounters are subject to certain conditions to ensure the safety of both participants and animals:
- Minimum age: 6 years old
- Between 2 and 5 participants, depending on the species
- Some behind-the-scenes areas are not accessible to guests with reduced mobility or wheelchair users
- The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or immunocompromised individuals
- Dogs are not allowed
- Additional restrictions may apply depending on the species
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Activities are non-exchangeable and non-refundable (except under the conditions specified)
To ensure the smooth running of the activities and to keep to the schedule, any late arrival will result in a shorter Exclusive Animal Encounter. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, ZooParc de Beauval reserves the right to cancel your participation without refund, rescheduling or change of date.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of your activity. Depending on the activity, the meeting point may be up to 30 minutes’ walk from either the North or South Entrance. Please allow enough time for your journey to arrive punctually.
This activity involves walking through areas where access may sometimes be difficult. Some locations are not accessible to guests with reduced mobility. If you have a disability or reduced mobility, please let us know when submitting your request so that our teams can adapt your experience as far as possible.

Under what circumstances could the activity be interrupted?
All participants must strictly follow the hygiene and safety instructions, as well as the ZooParc de Beauval Visitor Regulations. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the activity being stopped at any time, without refund.
Online payment by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Google Pay, Apple Pay and ANCV Connect holiday vouchers (digital version, via the Contact Center and the online ticket office).
Paper ANCV vouchers are accepted by phone only for stay bookings (with a minimum lead time of 15 days before the arrival date).
Payment in 3 or 4 instalments with ALMA is available for any ticket order between €50 and €3,000 on the online ticketing service or by phone.
