The programme
1:30 p.m. Welcome participants at the South entrance.
- Preparing enrichment or feeding small African carnivores
- Feeding tortoises
- Special approach and feeding of an African herbivore
- Cleaning of the inside boxes of animals in the “Savannah” sector
- Close-up observation of a small omnivore and feeding.
4:30 p.m. End of the activity at the South entrance.

The programme
1:30 p.m. Meeting at the North entrance at the level of the cave of the equatorial dome of the ZooParc. Reception of children by a mediator and a mediator-caregiver.
Explanations of the job of animal keeper, animal care…
- Preparing enrichment or feeding for meerkats.
- Feeding African tortoises.
- A special encounter with the Caribbean manatees.
- Cleaning the enclosure and feeding the bushpigs.
4:30 p.m. End of the activity. The children are accompanied by the mediator and the mediator-caregiver at the meeting point.

What can I bring on the day of the activity?
Don’t hesitate to bring a camera if you wish to take photos as a souvenir of your activity. Participants remain responsible for any such items.
Make sure you bring wellington boots and clothing that is appropriate for working with animals.
Restrictions
These activities are reserved for children aged 10 to 15 years old, and take place in groups (six people maximum + 1 scientific facilitator + 1 keeper-facilitator).
Children under the age of 10 will not be accepted on the day of the activity and any payment already made cannot give rise to any refund.
These activities require moving around in some spaces that are difficult to access: good physical condition is essential.
